What is the ISO 9001 quality management system?

        ISO 9001 is a set of quality management system standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is a widely accepted international standard applied across various industries. The ISO 9001 quality management system aims to help organizations establish and maintain an effective quality management system to ensure that the quality of their products and services meets customer and regulatory requirements


        ISO 9001 emphasizes customer orientation and continual improvement within organizations. This standard provides a set of guiding principles and practices to help organizations establish and implement effective quality management processes. It requires organizations to develop quality policies and objectives, establish corresponding procedures and controls, conduct internal audits, and implement continual improvement. ISO 9001 also requires organizations to conduct risk assessments and management to ensure the effective operation of their quality management system


        By implementing the ISO 9001 quality management system, organizations can improve the quality of their products and services, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. It also helps improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, minimize errors and risks, and enhance the organization's competitiveness and sustainability


        It is important to note that ISO 9001 is a certification standard, and organizations can demonstrate that their quality management system meets the requirements of this standard by obtaining ISO 9001 certification. Certification is an audit and verification process conducted by an independent third-party organization, through which an organization can demonstrate its commitment to and capabilities in quality management

Benefit from the course

Upon completion of the ISO 9001 course, you will acquire the following abilities

  1. Trainees will be able to clearly explain and interpret the concept of a quality management system, and understand the standards and purpose of auditing within the system 
  2. Explain the role of the auditor in planning, executing, reporting, and following up on quality management system audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 
  3. Plan, implement, report and track audits of the ISO 9001 quality management system in accordance with the guidance of ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 to establish conformity or other objectives 


        By learning and mastering this knowledge and skills, trainees will be able to effectively understand and apply the ISO 9001 standard and related quality management principles, and will be able to plan and implement quality management system audits within an organization
