ISO 45001

        ISO 45001 is used for Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S MS). It provides a framework to help organizations ensure the safety and health of employees and other interested parties in the workplace.

        The purpose of ISO 45001 is to help organizations establish and implement an effective occupational safety and health management system to prevent workplace accidents, injuries and occupational diseases. The standard is based on best practices in occupational safety and health, as well as relevant standards and guidance from the International Labor Organization (ILO).

ISO 45001 occupational safety and health management system covers the following aspects:

1. Risk assessment and management: Organizations need to identify and assess the various risks associated with the workplace and develop appropriate controls to reduce or eliminate these risks.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Organizations need to ensure that they comply with local and international occupational safety and health regulations and requirements and incorporate them into their management systems.

1. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the ISO 45001 standard and the basic concepts of occupational health and safety management systems. They will understand how to establish, implement and maintain an effective OHSMS to manage and improve an organization's occupational health and safety performance.
2. Participants will be able to apply the requirements in the ISO 45001 standard and apply them to an organization's occupational health and safety management system. They will learn to conduct occupational health and safety risk assessments, develop controls, establish policies and procedures, and more.
3. Participants will be able to plan and perform internal audits of occupational health and safety management systems in accordance with the ISO 17011 standard. They will understand audit procedures, techniques and tools and be able to assess whether the organization's OHSMS meets the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard.
4. Participants will learn how to effectively manage and improve occupational health and safety performance. They will understand how to identify and assess occupational health and safety risks and put in place appropriate controls to reduce risks and prevent accidents.

        After completing the ISO 45001 course, students will be equipped with the capabilities of occupational health and safety management systems and ISO 45001 standards. They are able to apply this knowledge and skills to establish and maintain an effective OHSMS and can conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard. Participants will also have the ability to manage occupational health and safety to protect the health and safety of employees and prevent the occurrence of occupational disasters and work-related diseases.
